Our Vision
Yachtingbase.gr : Common Consensous
Profitability with high returns from a professional marina is not in our wide agenda. We focus on the profitability of each company involved with our common project and all surrounding businesses. We've reached a well calculated consensous that sustainable marina development is much more profitable in the long run than any other similar project which lacks long term vision.
We focus on the profitability of our companies so the construction of pharaonic works, that raise the cost of construction and operation of a marina is not a necessity for us.

Social Awareness
A marina is a living organism, a small city, the yachts it hosts is its settlement. This settlement needs staff who provide their services in order to be viable. It is estimated that 1.3 persons of different specialties are needed for each vessel to serve. We are creating priority posts for the APD in line with their capabilities. We promote trade and economic growth in the region by minimizing commercial activities within the marina. By law, the Social Cooperative Enterprise (SCE) is obliged to distribute its profits and withholds 5% of net profits as a reserve.
This guarantees the wages of its employees and the creation of new jobs.
The surrounding social net of every marina is the main focus of all our design. The settlement, its history, the environment, is highlighted in the construction and operation of the marina. Elements of the site, archeological findings, old facilities are incorporated, materials are reused to minimize the environmental footprint. Recyclable materials are collected and promoted by offering income.
We are avoiding facilities which create or shall create problems in the perspective of the marine and coastal areas. We use alternative ways of saving drinking water, we create and protect the leafy green, we rejuvenate the coastal marina front, and we make it accessible to everyone.
